Queen of the Night Aria

You may hate opera, but check this out. This is my stage and costume design for Mozart's Queen of the Night aria from his opera The Magic Flute. She would hang from wires and her dress would hang all the way to the stage making it look like she is rising into the night. She sings this www.youtube.com/watch?v=OP9SX7… song which is the considered the hardest ever written. She is asking her daughter (on the stage) to kill her enemy, the villian of the story, when in fact, she turns out to be the villainess, herself.
